POSITION SUMMARY


EarnIn is looking for a New Verticals Strategy & Ops Associate to join the Office of the CEO.  This individual will research, analyze, and shape strategy for new product initiatives.  They will own a diverse range of operational, analytical, and strategic efforts within and across functions. This role presents a unique opportunity for the candidate who is excited about gaining visibility into new product ideation and strategy at a high-growth, scaling startup. It is ideal for a product-minded strategist who likes to analyze and structure complex business problems, and who is comfortable with (and excited by) ambiguity.  This individual will work closely with senior leaders at EarnIn and will report to the Chief of Staff / Sr.

Director of Strategy.  This is a hybrid position; this individual should expect to be in the office (Palo Alto) at least a few days per week. The US base salary range for this full-time position is [$126,500 - $154,600] + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to research / analyze product ideas for new verticals
  • Articulate / prioritize new vertical investment ideas, partnering cross-functionally to ensure a well-rounded, robust strategy
  • Develop an execution plan to move qualified ideas into the “incubation” stage
  • Regularly and proactively partner with key stakeholders across functions to define issues, drive alignment, and quickly advance priorities

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


  • 3+ years experience in management consulting, investment banking, or strategy at a fast-growing technology company
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, and ability to structure complex problems
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive alignment and decision-making
  • Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new subjects quickly
  • Startup experience and enthusiasm for FinTech preferred
  • BS/BA required
