This team has two charters of powering ML-optimized user experiences across our consumer surfaces and building a platform for organized, consistent and relevant search results to consumers.
What you’ll do
Collaborate with our Product, Analytics, and Operations teams to set and execute Consumer ML and Search platform strategy
Recruit and hire senior engineers
Coach, develop, retain, and provide feedback to team members
Organize the Consumer Search and ML team as necessary to fulfill its mandate
Establish OKRs and critical metrics to set the engineering team’s direction and measure its success
Create a long term technical roadmap that enables the team to keep up with our fast growing business
Build a strong engineering culture around innovation, accountability, empathy, and execution- On-Call Rotation - There would be an on-call rotation for this role as a requirement
