About the Role:
The Training Lead is responsible for the coordination and execution of training for all process paths in the Compounding Lab. Trainer Leads evaluate and refine processes and techniques to improve learning effectiveness and production across all compounding processes. The Training Lead assists in driving the success training plans and supporting the needs of the Compounding Lab as the product line grows. The Trainer Lead will evaluate each compounding technician to ensure competency in all process paths.This person is required to work onsite in our Arizona Fulfillment Center.
You Will:
- Develop and create engaging training materials and resources for all process paths in the compounding lab
- Work with a team of content curators, instructional designers, and animators to ensure the timely and high-quality development of training materials
- Work with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content
- Use and analyze data on a daily basis to improve the learning experience of new hires
- Ensure training materials are kept up to date and delivered against standard, providing a positive learning experience
- Improve processes from gathering feedback and analyzing data
- Collaborate with operations to identify critical skill gaps and create training plans to address them
- Support the recruitment of Instructors and Peer Trainers
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Training all new compounders and ensuring they pass their compounding competency required by the board of pharmacy
- Design the training materials as our new products launch
- Audits tenured compounders to ensure competencies are being met continuously
You Have:
- Able to work independently and autonomously
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong observational and analytical skills
- Experience in developing and delivering training content
- Effective time management and teamwork skills
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Certified Compounding Pharmacist Technician
- Onsite required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrates a methodical approach in tasks
- Basic understanding of project management
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with e-Learning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS)
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience

Conditions of Employment:
- This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.
- This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
- Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.
