PagerDuty is seeking an IT Product Manager - Financial Systems to join our diverse, customer-focused team! As an IT Product Manager - Financial Systems, you will report to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications (Finance) in the CIO organization. In this position, you will actively work with both internal and external resources on the IT, Finance, and Billing Engineering teams to define and support a high-impact finance systems roadmap. With a growing customer base and growing product catalog, you will innovate how we can build our internal systems for scale to support an expanding business.
You will also be hyper focused on measuring the changes and the direct impact those changes had on the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about business process optimization and is driven by business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Finance & Accounting organization to document and validate business objectives and requirements for implementation by technical teams.
- Influence and lead collaborative reviews with various stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, interpret, and analyze requirements to align business process efficiencies and improvements with system functionality, and ensure the accuracy of information feeding into our back-office applications.
- Develop a roadmap that accomplishes business goals and aligns with the team and company V2MOM.
- Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting complex process, functional, and application issues and manage these through to resolution.
- Create documentation for implemented solutions, including process workflows and technical specifications.
- Apply best practice techniques to ensure that data integrity, internal controls, and solutions are scalable.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a product manager, business analyst, or business systems implementation consultant for IT, Operations or Finance teams
- 4+ years of experience designing optimized and automated processes for Finance and Accounting teams.
- General understanding of best practices and business processes in Finance and Accounting.
- Self-starter, strong problem solver, reliable team player with ability to deliver projects on-time.
- Strong time and project management skills – can coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a high-paced business culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform in a dynamic, fast-changing work environment.
- Successfully deliver with levels of ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Zuora, RevPro, Coupa, NetSuite or similar SaaS platforms.Comprehension of international accounting reporting standards and foreign exchange rate impacts.Previous experience working in a public company, including experience implementing and maintaining SOX controls for financial reporting and other regulatory/compliance initiatives.Experience with Agile project management & development/deployment methodologies
The base salary range for this position is 146,000 - 237,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position.
