Deep Genomics aims to revolutionize drug development using artificial intelligence built to decode RNA biology and RNA therapeutics. Our proprietary AI platform enables us to decode the enormous complexity of RNA biology to find novel targets, mechanisms, and molecules that are not accessible through traditional methods. Founded in 2015, our multidisciplinary team includes expertise in a diverse range of disciplines including those found in a traditional drug company, as well as machine learning, statistical genetics, applied data science, deep bioinformatics, software engineering and laboratory automation.

Where You Fit In
You’ll be joining our Finance team and reporting directly to the Controller. You’ll be using your skills to make our team efficient and effective.
What You Will Be Doing
While your main responsibilities will include invoice and data processing, we are not looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk. We are looking for someone that can utilize NetSuite and our procurement application, Coupa, to optimize and automate our Accounts Payable processes as much as possible.You will also be responsible for assisting with the monthly close process.
Some Responsibilities Will Include:
Performing typical Accounts Payable activities including:
- Processing vendors’ bills/invoices, credit card transactions and other transactions as assigned in multiple subsidiaries
- Processing employee expense reports
- Reconciling vendor statements and investigating discrepancies
- Applying vendor payments to invoices
Assist with period end closing procedures including:
- Preparing journal entries and working papers
- Reconciling AP subledger to general ledger
What you bring:
- An undergrad degree or diploma in accounting, finance or a related field
- Experience working effectively in AP role with three-way matching
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles including various data segments like Departments and Projects
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Comfort in asking questions when you’re not sure
- Generally tech savvy and quick learner of new software applications
- Experience using lookups and pivot tables in spreadsheets
Nice-to-have:
- 1-3 years of experience with ERP and procurement systems an asset (preferably NetSuite and Coupa)
