The Opportunity at Komodo Health:
The Executive Chief of Staff will drive and enable our leadership team through effective collaboration - leading to decisive planning and actions to continue to grow our business. This role will lead this effort alternating between behind the scenes influencing and front stage directing to ensure we’re able to achieve our organizational objectives.

- Partnered with our founders (CEO Arif Nathoo and President Web Sun) to drive key initiatives, provide a real-time view of the organization, and broker key information
- Increased the value of executive team interactions by designing purposeful agendas, facilitating decision-making, building action plans, and tracking pull-through
- Collaborated with the executive team in setting, monitoring, and achieving our cross-functional organizational objectives
- Implemented processes and tools that enhance the effectiveness of executive team interactions and decision-making
- Multiplied impact and effectiveness for our founders and executive team by elevating team health and performance
- Became an integrated and indispensable member of the Office of the Founders
You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…
- Coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly touchpoints for Komodo’s executive team, including prioritizing agendas, gathering relevant data and insights, recording decisions, and tracking action plans
- Proactively partner with functional leaders to surface key discussion and decision topics to the executive team
- Coordinate with functional leaders to ensure deliverables are on time, discussion topics are prioritized, and decisions are cascaded to the correct stakeholders
- Identify, surface, and appropriately escalate key cross-functional insights to the founders in real-time
- Identify gaps and propose recommendations to make time, decisions, and information all more effective for our executive team as a unit
- Own and execute select cross-functional special projects on behalf of the founders
- Partner with teams such as communications and executive operations to help enable our founders to focus on strategic priorities and decision-making
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
- Passion for working within the healthcare tech space, working knowledge of business strategy, consulting, SaaS, or healthcare adjacent fields
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including experience working concurrently across multiple cross-functional workstreams
- Deep emotional intelligence, empathy, influencing, and communication skills - to be the voice of our founders while also adapting to a diverse set of working styles and priorities within our leadership team
- Analytical and data-driven mindset to support prioritization, recommendations, and decision making - able to absorb and synthesize complex information for our executives
- Balance between managing highly detailed initiatives while also stepping back and identifying trends within our organization to enable effective course changes
Expected travel is between 20-25%. #LI-Remote
Compensation at Komodo Health
The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.$139,000—$167,000 USD
Where You’ll Work
Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
