We are currently in closed beta and validating the app with our waitlist client.
What you will do as a Mobile Automation Engineer:
- Independently verify and sign off on production releases and hotfixes, ensuring the highest quality of our mobile application deployments.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and devise a systematic approach for the execution and upkeep of these plans.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate their work, progressively leading and educating team members on enhancing their QA processes.
- Manage the process of documenting bugs discovered during bug bashes, creating detailed tickets with reproduction steps, and coordinating with engineers for additional information when necessary.
- Act as the "automation champion," facilitating continuous improvement of current automation practices and advocating for testing advancements.
- Closely monitor application performance metrics such as loading time, response speed, and UI consistency, and take responsibility for maintaining elite performance standards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of end-to-end (E2E) tests, including regular monitoring of live runs and troubleshooting issues on Mac test machines as they arise.
- Acquire and maintain proficiency with automation tools, such as Maestro, overseeing the current testing pipeline, and addressing flaky tests to ensure high reliability.

Skills And Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-time experience as a QA Analyst, either in manual testing or test automation.
- Demonstrated experience in leading QA initiatives within a professional setting.
- Proficiency in (or at least familiarity with) automation tools used in testing across multiple devices and browsers.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate ideas, facilitate knowledge sharing, and engage with colleagues at all levels.
- Curiosity and an eagerness to learn, with a passion for diving into new challenges and swiftly providing value.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with mobile E2E test automation tools for React Native (we use Maestro).
- Experience with testing consumer products
- Experience with mobile testing (Either manual or automation)
