How you’ll support our operations:
As an Inventory Manager in our food-based warehouse, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end inventory management process. Your role is critical in maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing warehouse space, and ensuring the timely availability of products. With a focus on efficiency and accuracy, you will lead a team to uphold industry standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the overall success of our warehouse operations.The Inventory Manager will report to the Senior Warehouse Manager.
Key responsibilities of this position include achieving and maintaining optimal inventory levels, forecasting demand, and maintaining inventory accuracies and controls in a fast-paced production environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of our Packaging, Produce, Grocery, and 3rd Party inventories.

What you’ll be doing:
- Owns all inventory KPIs and accuracy in our WMS/Internal Spreadsheets.Utilizes data analysis tools such as Excel and Mode to monitor inventory levels, turnover rates, and order fulfillment accuracy. Implements strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
- Ensures the accuracy of product volume and location in all areas of the warehouse through diligent record-keeping and audits. Performs thorough research and documentation of inventory discrepancies to identify operational causes and provide solutions.
- Works closely with merchandising, production, and logistics teams to coordinate inventory planning, replenishment, and distribution.
- Fosters effective communication to minimize disruptions and maintain a seamless supply chain.
- Coordinates and executes cycle count processes and physical inventories in accordance with established schedules and procedures. Identifies necessary recounts and provides regular reports to operations senior leadership.
- Identifies and mitigates potential risks related to inventory, including shortages, overstock, and product shelf-life. Develops contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Manages all off-site transfers of inventory, coordinating with our Logistics team to ensure on-time pick up and delivery to prevent shorts to our customers.
- Leads and develops a team of inventory control associates, leads, and supervisors. Provides direction, training, and support across all inventory-related functions related to ensuring on-time delivery of orders.
- Continuously evaluates and enhances inventory control processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
What you have:
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)
- Strong verbal communications skills
- Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
- Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
