WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
As a Cloud Engineering Manager at H1, you will play a crucial role as a hands-on leader managing and leading our Cloud Engineering team. You'll work collaboratively with stakeholders leading our Cloud Engineering team to ensure the services our team provides improve visibility, reliability, consistency and availability of our data, development and production infrastructures. You will:- Lead and manage the Cloud Engineering team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to team members- Automate provisioning of AWS resources to allow complete self-service for engineering teams- Empower engineering teams to provision and maintain their own infrastructure with enough observability and control in-place - Be ready to roll up the sleeves and code up infrastructure 50% or more of your time. - Support and troubleshoot cloud deployment and environment issues- Manage cloud vendor relationships- Implement monitoring tools and dashboards- Ensures security and privacy standards and practices are enforced on our environment- Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs associated with Infrastructure resources, ensuring efficient utilization of cloud infrastructure and services

Additionally, you’re a collaborative partner, fostering effective communication with your Cloud Engineering team and project managers, product owners, and other team leads to align objectives and priorities in a fast paced constantly shifting environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure or demonstrable knowledge in a startup environment- 6+ years of experience with containers and orchestration technologies ( Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)- Broad knowledge of cloud service landscape and demonstrated proficiency with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, IAM, ECS, EKS, Route53, etc.)- Has rolled out and operated infrastructure automation for 24x7 SaaS applications- Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, JIRA, GitHub, and the ability to build pipeline- Working knowledge and experience with networking (HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, SSH, Firewall, VPN) - Retained previous experience related to participating in and taking action on security governance and policy building is a plus- Proficient in Linux system administrationNot meeting all the requirements but still feel like you’d be a great fit? COMPENSATION
This role
