The Marketing & Events Specialist at Lightcast will be a dynamic professional responsible for planning, organizing, and executing marketing events that promote Lightcast's brand, products, and services to its target audience. This role requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to assist in managing all aspects of event planning and marketing strategies, from conceptualization to execution. Collaborating closely with other departments, stakeholders, and external partners, the coordinator ensures that each event and marketing initiative aligns with Lightcast’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to create both brand awareness and revenue.
- Play a role in planning and executing all logistics related to events, including collateral, shipping, and attendee registration.
- Help design and produce marketing materials to support event promotion.
- Oversee social media efforts and online presence to enhance audience engagement and promote events.
- Analyze HR Tech market trends, understand buyer personas and their specific needs and capture competitor insights.
- Evaluate the success of each marketing campaign and event, using analytics to understand what was successful and identify areas of opportunity.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Suite and social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Excellent organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as needed for events.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in marketing and/or events, including internships.
