About the role


We are seeking an experienced product manager role to help drive product development on our Cloud feature set. This is a unique opportunity to have a major growth impact on the business driving feature development targeted at our largest customers as you help position Dagster as the tool of choice for data engineering teams the world over.This is a full-time, competitively paid position with benefits. We are a distributed team with offices in San Francisco, New York, and Minneapolis. We have team members all over the U.S.

and we are hiring fully remote candidates in the U.S. Every employee is provided a remote work stipend to cover the cost of home office equipment and anything else that makes your remote work location comfortable, productive, or successful.

Responsibilities:


  • Connect with teams large and small. Listen, learn, and loop their feedback right back into our product work
  • Create and deliver a roadmap for Dagster Cloud that is comprised of high impact features for core orchestration, data catalog, data quality and more
  • Develop your own unique point of view about where data engineering and data platforms are evolving
  • Lead by collaborating with engineering, design, sales, devrel to drive customer growth and engagement with Dagster

Must-have Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product management experience
  • A bachelors degree in a technical field OR equivalent technical experience
  • Effective intuition and product sense
  • Experience leading product development by coordinating efforts of cross functional teams
  • Ability to identify customer needs and translate to product requirements
  • Confident written communicator who is comfortable taking a point of view

Nice-to-have Qualifications


  • Prior experience in Dev Tools, Data Engineering or Data Science
  • Experience at high-growth SaaS startups
  • You like writing blogs and product managing in public

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $150,000 - 190,000.
