If that sounds inspiring to you, let’s get in touch!Job purposeYour mission will be to work, enhance, modularize debug and maintain the front-end of the SaaS beqom application that is used by 100+ customers. You will be in link with the different product managers to ensure that the new features are implemented according to customer needs with the best quality possible. Duties and responsibilitiesAs a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you will participate in all the different phases of the implementation of new features. From the design, going through the implementation and testing of your development through an agile and iterative way. You will also mentor and coach other Software Engineers in helping them to discover new technologies and improving their best practices in development.You will ensure that the necessary tools and automation are in place in order to help the Quality team to do its job the most efficiently possible.As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Build new application features, platform tools and improving existing features by leveraging open source technologies
- Develop new features according to a defined roadmap in a timely manner, meeting our highest quality and performance standards
- Maintain applications, perform code and application upgrades
- Review PR’s from other engineers
Must haveTechnical Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with proven front-end expertise and a very strong technical background
- B.S. or Master in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Strong programming skills and ability to code in JavaScript, Typescript, React
- Experience in CSS (Sass), TailwindCSS
- Experience with microservices, containers, API gateway, REST and WebSockets
- Automation, quality, and security are three faces of the same coin for you
- Strong experience on unit testing (unit tests, component tests, integration tests)
- Experience on frontend performance
- Strong experience in an agile environment
Soft skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), other languages is a plus
- Strong team player mindset as well as very good communication skills
- Open-minded, proactive, and not afraid of challenges
- Strong sense of ownership
- Ready to bring new ideas, technologies with a great sense of ownership of the projects you will follow
Nice to have
- Knowledge on some React frameworks as Next or Remix
- Knowledge in Accessibility
- Experience in Front-End tooling is a plus (e.g., Webpack)
- Knowledge of mobile technologies
- Experience in design is a big plus
- Used to working with people remotely
- Functional programming is a strong plus
