Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organised Recruitment Coordinator to join our dynamic UK People Team. The Recruitment Coordinator will play a crucial role in finding the best talent out there,  coordinating recruitment activities and ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. Regardless of whether someone works for us or not, we want their experience to be the best in class. 

About you


The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, communicative, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A friendly and enthusiastic team player with a passion for excellent candidate experience. A reliable employee who is able to effectively manage time and priorities. A strong independent problem solver with proven multi-tasking and communication skills. Comfortable working in a team or independently.We are looking for someone with 1 to 2 years experience in retail or hospitality recruitment.  Hospitality experience is essential be it directly in customer-facing roles of recruiting for hospitality businesses.

We are looking for someone at the start of their career, keen to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities


1. Candidate Sourcing and Screening


  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create role vacancies for baristas and shift leads in our stores
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and employee referrals
  • Review resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability and interest
  • Assist the recruitment manager with management role recruitment where required

2. Interview Coordination


  • Schedule and facilitate group interviews
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and the General Managers, ensuring alignment with everyone's availability
  • Coordinate logistics for interviews, including video or on-site arrangements
  • Communicate interview details to candidates and provide relevant information about the interview process
  • Support in rearranging the interviews if necessary.

3. Candidate Communication


  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates on their application status
  • Address candidate inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Foster a positive candidate experience by ensuring clear and transparent communication throughout recruitment
  • Be responsible for the candidate's journey to the point of offers made, rejection calls and invites to orientation

4. Administration & Coordination  


  • Be the point of liaison between candidates, the field and the people team 
  • Work with the recruitment manager to ensure onboarding is timely and accurate via our Bamboo HR system
  • Work with the orientation training team and General Manager to coordinate the smooth transition of successful candidates into the training and roles 
  • Ensure we are tracking and reporting on all recruitment data on a monthly basis
  • Providing weekly updates on vacancies, candidates and offers
