The Role
We're hiring for a Platform Engineering Intern - you will be a good fit if you are interested in platform and infrastructure that supports the systems that process ~8 billion clicks/month. We work with tools like Go, Python, MySQL, bash and terraform, among others.Our engineering team works on challenging product-focused problems and handles over 8 billion clicks per month for people and businesses all over the world. As an intern, you’ll have all the support you need to make a big impact on our growing business.
From day one you will be included as part of the Platform & Infrastructure team where you will have mentorship from senior members of the team. What You'll Do
- Get hands-on technical experience from day one
- Learn tools and skills to work in an agile development team
- Work with large and complex systems at scale in a hybrid cloud environment
- Gain experience with the full software development life cycle from design and architecture through to development, testing, and release

Interview Process
- Submit your resume along with a brief cover letter (1 paragraph is more than enough!)
- Once your resume has been submitted, we'll review it and qualified candidates will be invited to submit a code sample. This can be something you’ve worked on for school, a bootcamp, or a personal project– any code you’ve written that you are proud of!
- Our engineers will review your code sample and qualified candidates will be invited to a screening interview with either the hiring manager or talent acquisition team
- The final step in the process will be an opportunity to meet with the broader engineering team where you’ll talk through your code sample and tell us more about your experience
- And that’s it!
Internship Duration
The internship is a 10-week program beginning June 3rd, 2024 and running until August 16th, 2024 (with 1 week off during the week of July 4th)
