Wpromote is looking to continue to evolve their approach to full funnel marketing by hiring a Head of Brand Planning. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in leveraging media to craft compelling brand narratives, enhancing our already exceptional approach to driving client performance. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. You Will Be
- Leading, building, and advising on development of an integrated media strategy and marketing plans while collaborating closely with Channel and other Client Strategy leaders to deliver exceptional results and customer experience
- Collaborating with leaders across channel teams, strategy sales and marketing to improve our go to market strategy and positioning with prospective new clients
- Using planning tools to develop key connections planning guidance and scenario plans on channel mix and investment allocation (Across both Digital and Linear channels)
- Working closely with media partners to execute cutting-edge activations that set our brands apart in the market
- Taking client business objectives and translating them into marketing KPIs that help them drive long term growth, brand resonance, and increased market penetration
- Creating cohesive full-funnel media plans that bridge insights and communication planning, driving awareness and bottom-funnel performance seamlessly
- Working with clients and internal client stakeholders to establish and define high-impact, long-term marketing strategies at the business level by developing account strategies, audience & messaging insights, consumer journey, and media mix recommendations
- Partnering with brand-centric marketers and speak to their expertise in building full funnel campaigns supported by tentpole activations and social amplification for our clients
- Engaging in cross-functional collaboration with Comms Planning, Insights, Measurement, and activation teams
- Partnering with our product team to help us build first to market planning tools that helps Wpromote differentiate their planning tools from others in the marketplace
- Actively participating in client meetings, collaboration with media leads to foster critical partnerships, and providing subject matter expertise to both internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting Wpromote in transitioning from a performance-driven agency to one skilled in comprehensive full-funnel media planning and activation
You Must Have
- 8+ years of experience working at a media/creative agency or experience as an in-house marketer on the brand/advertiser side
- The skill to effectively utilize comms planning and audience insights to strategize and execute cross-channel campaigns, especially in traditional TV and connected TV (CTV) platforms
- A fresh perspective that enjoys questioning traditional approaches to work
- Strong working ability to succinctly and powerfully articulate brand strategies to marketers, creative partners, media partners, activation, and measurement teams to gain alignment on holistic brand forward campaign plans
- Expertise in identifying historical gaps in advertiser-agency operations and a strong desire to pioneer innovative solutions that address advertiser needs
- Established strong relationships with media partners to unlock ‘first look’ opportunities and commitment to activation success
- A visionary mindset with the ability to collaborate with internal investment teams to set the vision and lead development and execution of best-in-class plans
- The ability to “own the room” in both new business and client facing settings
- Experience briefing media partners and vendors on innovative campaign ideas, frameworks and custom solutions, with proven success in bringing those campaigns to life
- A strong understanding of varied measurement frameworks that validate the efficacy of brand forward campaigns
- Deep experience in telling stories using planning and research tools, as well as being a trusted advisor to clients
- Experience using media planning and audience planning tools (for example, Nielsen NMI, Comscore etc.)
