About the role:
The Global Payroll Manager will report to the Head of Global Accounting and Finance Operations and will oversee all aspects of payroll operations for our international workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of payroll regulations and practices in multiple countries, as well as strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team.
Responsibilities include - but not limited to:
· You will be an owner and fully accountable of the payroll processing cycles for the company.· Process payroll transactions for our employees accurately and timely.· Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including tax laws, wage and hour laws and other payroll-related regulations.· Maintain accurate payroll data and records, including employee information, timesheets, and other relevant payroll documents.· Resolve employee payroll issues, discrepancies, and concerns in a timely manner.· Process Payroll accounting entries in NetSuite ERP.· Perform general ledger payroll reconciliations.· Serve a point of contact to employees as necessary on payroll-related processes.· Collaborate with the People & Culture team.· Stay current with all payroll-related laws and regulations and make recommendations for changes to policies and procedures as necessary.
A successful team member will have:
· 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting; preferably in the e-commerce space.· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.· Knowledge of International Accounting Principles and IFRS.· Knowledge of ADP, experience with other systems is a plus.· Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Excel-related tools· Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.· Excellent problem-solving skills.· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and wants to work on a team to collaborate effectively.· Fluent in English and German.
