Founders benefit from access to M13’s full-time operating partners in strategic areas such as brand, talent, data, and operations to enable better day-to-day decisions. We seek a Contract Design Specialist to join the M13 Brand and Communications team. The team is responsible for setting and executing the brand strategy, producing digital and physical content for tentpole events for our ecosystem of tech founders and investors, and amplifying investment thought leadership across our owned and earned channels.
The Contract Design Specialist supports all M13 Brand and Communication initiatives by contributing to our human-centered approach to data and visual storytelling. With our Creative Director’s guidance, the Contract Design Specialist will execute concepts and strategies in support of a wide range of projects for M13 and our portfolio companies. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to develop, grow, and learn from a seasoned team. You will be able to wear many hats, including web development, UX/UI, design, and more.This is a 3-6 month contract position with the possibility of conversion to full-time.
Responsibilities include:
- Design support
- Support production efforts to deliver final assets of:
- Digital assets - blogs, social graphics, email, and newsletter templates via our email marketing tool.
- Decks - pitch decks, annual meeting slides, annual and quarterly reports.
- Printed materials – reports, books, agendas, signage, name tags, merchandise.
- Support organization and management of assets within our shared drive.
- Update and distribute assets across the firm.
- Website management
- Maintain and update the M13 website on Webflow. Including troubleshooting custom CMS needs (blogs) and converting designs into functional Webflow templates.
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of initiatives.

- Have a strong portfolio that highlights examples of your past work experience bringing brands to life.
- Have strong organizational skills.
- Have 3-5+ years of relevant experience in web production design.
- Are proficient working in Adobe Creative Suite, Webflow, Figma, HTML, and CSS scripting languages like Javascript are a plus.
- Have experience managing marketing campaigns in an email marketing tool.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, or a related field.
This contract position will pay $45/hour.
