If applying for this role, please make sure your blockchain and cryptocurrency experience stands out!The Uphold Enterprise Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing email marketing campaigns. While primarily focused on the Enterprise business unit, the campaigns will target both business prospects and retail customers. The key objective of the campaigns will be: 1) to drive transactions with our fiat-to-crypto onramp product and 2) support campaigns to key sales funnel clients. For retail customers, the Uphold Enterprise email content is a mix of automated journeys and one-off messages, designed to lead our customers through the funnel and ultimately complete transactions. What you’ll be doing primarilyTo be successful in this role, you’ll come with a knowledge of email marketing and campaigns, promotions and incentives that drive transactions in the crypto space.
We are looking for someone who can be part of the enterprise team and that comes with experience and understanding of how email and digital marketing to accomplish our business goals. We are a collaborative team and would expect the best candidate to understand the business strategy and contribute with actionable insights and plans. We want a self-starter who can take initiative and read out on the results of those initiatives. The ideal candidate will also have experience with customer.io tools or similar email marketing platforms.
Qualifications
Own full process for Enterprise and Institutional emails, including: understanding the business goals, helping set plans and campaigns through email that achieve that strategy, light copywriting, requesting approval for content, building the email in Customer.io, testing, deploying and reporting on engagement and insights.
- Build automated journeys to that will enhance funnel optimization, compel participation in incentive programs, target segmented users with specific assets and more
- Contribute to the development of segmentation strategies, including retention and lifecycle optimization
- Create and execute campaigns that will achieve the business goals
- Develop a regular email communication plan that could include: token listings; monthly round-ups; daily/weekly price action email alerts; special promotions; rewards programs; and general evergreen content to keep users engaged
- Build, deploy and report engagement on monthly newsletters for our Topper fiat-to-crypto onramp users and for our Business Account Customers
- Light copywriting for email content
- Request and update creative assets for email campaigns
- Have your finger on the pulse of new trends and best practices in email marketing
- Ensure email marketing activities are in keeping with legal and regulatory requirements
- Website Updates: post blog and news articles to Topperpay.com website using Webflow. Minimal responsibility, most frequently posting monthly newsletters to the website as blog content.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, communications or related field
- 3 years minimum experience in an email marketing role, including proficiency with an email automation platform, such as Customer IO, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, or comparable email automation platform
- Basic HTML
- Experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Analytical capabilities & ability to translate email marketing data into actionable insights
- Light graphics experience using a platform such as Canva.
- Must be able to maintain deadlines and communicate with multiple teams/stakeholders
- Attention to detail
