About the role:
The Litigation Specialist’s primary responsibility is appearing on behalf of Enova in litigation matters and managing a significant caseload by handling administrative and organizational tasks as well as providing oversight to our outside counsel. The ideal candidate for this role is proficient in technology in addition to their legal knowledge and expertise. This role reports to Commercial Collections Litigation Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and execute legal documents that will support Enova during litigious activity on accounts
- Act as a witness for Enova during trials and mediations
- Collaborating with both internal and external legal counsel to prepare for court proceedings and oversee portfolio management
- Document changes in accounts in each system of record
- Support the Recovery team in maintaining relationships with external law firms
- Manage the bankruptcy scrub process and assist the Bankruptcy paralegal as needed
- Conduct legal research and projects as assigned by the Legal Team
Requirements:
- 2 or more years in paralegal or litigation support
- Possession of a Juris Doctorate or Paralegal Certificate are beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and experience with proprietary software or Salesforce considered advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and adapt to new challenges
For Colorado-based candidates, the budgeted range is $60,000-$70,000 but actual compensation may vary based on experience including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in incentive plans, and the Company’s benefits plans.
