KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Discussing technology with clients and represent Collabora at conferences and trade shows to demonstrate and promote our leadership in the open source arenaAnalysing client problems and designing solutions leveraging open source technologies and Collabora's technical expertiseDefining and scoping client projects in collaboration with the delivery teamWorking with a team of engineers based globally to implement and contribute both to client and open source projectsContributing publicly to open source projects to ensure Collabora's continuing technical leadershipGaining working knowledge of customers’ products, applications, technical and business strengths and target marketsUnderstanding client needs and reconciling time constraints, available technologies and resources, and open source best practicesREQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills:
Knowledge in machine learning (ML) techniques (supervised, unsupervised) and proficiency in high- and low-level programming languages (C/C++/Python) is a must-haveStrong/Extensive foundation in Math, e.g. linear algebra, bayesian statistics, multivariate calculusProven track record of experience in open-source software development/methodologies is essential as well as a good standing in any relevant open source communityAcademic and Research Publications in the Machine Learning domain is a big plusDemonstrable contributions to components in open source projects
Commercial Skills:
Understanding client needs and reconciling time constraints, available technologies and resources, and open source best practicesAbility to work in a global context with clients and engineers spanning continentsKnowledge of customers’ organization, management, product, target market, applications and decision making internal process
Personal Skills:
