About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Consultant to join our Technology Consulting team. This role is essential in managing technical implementations and configurations for our clients, serving as a technical escalation point. The ideal candidate will be adept in various technical domains, including Microsoft 365 administration, network infrastructure, and project management.*
This role is based out of the DC, MD, VA area and will sometimes require onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle projects involving Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Office 365 migrations, firewall configurations, office moves, and network setups.
- Own the entire process from project planning to management, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
- Resolve escalated technical issues and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Develop and present proposals for new technology initiatives.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of seven years of IT technical support experience, including both end-user support and systems administration. Network engineering experience is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including email and file migration to the platform.
- Proficiency in configuring firewalls, network switches, and wireless access points.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with minimal oversight required.
- Strong organization and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to write clear project plans, manage documented requirements, and adhere to schedules.
- Prior MSP experience (preferred).
- Ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical staff and work independently.
