We are currently seeking an experienced System Support Engineer / Helpdesk. This is a full-time salaried position.  You will join a team of engineers doing various jobs to complete basic and complex tasks and solving problems with creative solutions. You will have direct ownership of your work, self-sufficient, and have opportunities to learn many different technologies and quickly grow to various server support jobs if desired.  Special projects will be available based on desired learning path.

You will be rewarded for working smart, communication, creativity and innovation. In this role, you will have multiple responsibilities including providing technical assistance and support to computer systems, hardware, or software. Respond to requires and requests for assistance, isolate problems, and determine resolutions.  Office productivity tools support, implementing new tools, upgrades, end user support for a fast-growing office of 200+, spread across multiple offices.

Primary Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)


  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Provide strong customer service communication to end users
  • Respond to queries either via ticket, in person or over the phone.
  • Document all events, incidents and problems within IT service desk
  • Image user laptops and desktops
  • Assist with basic user training and HR IT onboarding.
  • Maintain daily operation and performance of end user IT systems.
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Clean up computers.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve first line technical problems with office LAN and WAN.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.

Required Skills and Experience


  • At least a BS/BA Degree or equivalent in 5 years experience in related fields
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in system support / end user support
  • Experience in end user computer support and windows desktops with the following technologies
  • Windows 10
  • Office 365
  • Active Directory
  • Wireless & wireless troubleshooting
  • Network printers & scanners
  • Basic TCP/IP networking LAN troubleshooting
  • Antivirus & end user security tools
  • IT Asset management
  • Experience with the following is a plus
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019
  • Microsoft Azure
  • VMware vSphere
  • OS X & Linux experience
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Purchase Order Management
  • Cisco VPN
