Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, coach and train employees performing all warehouse related duties.
- Maintains warehouse standards of accurate receiving, picking, delivery, and material locations according to standard practices.
- Establish and maintain effective communication between production, quality, and Engineering departments to achieve company customer service goals.
- Effectively uses organization systems and company ERP technology to accurately monitor and move inventory to fill manufacturing demand orders.
- Maintains inventory accuracy through training, process reinforcement and follow up on material movement and ERP/MRP system transactions.
- Ensure manufacturing work cell material is promptly delivered to location and confirm transaction integrity.
- Assist with the development, revision and enforcement of inventory management and procedures including record keeping, work instructions, ISO procedures, and other standard operational practices, as necessary.
- Model, understand, adhere, and enforce company safety guidelines.
- Understand, model and practice company core values.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or advanced degree a plus
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience performing shipping/receiving, stock control, inventory and recordkeeping functions
- Cycle count experience a plus
- Warehouse optimization experience preferred
- Demonstrated record of leading team(s) directly or indirectly
- Demonstrated understanding of MRP/ERP system functionality
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems; Oracle/JD Edwards preferred
Position Type, Schedule and Travel
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Friday- Monday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional off day work may be required as job duties demand.
