Job Title: Senior SharePoint Developer
Location: Washington DC area (Remote, with potential for occasional onsite meetings)Clearance: Public Trust EligibilityAbout this role:
- Rackner is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer that will be maintaining and developing systems and sites within insideNSF.gov.
- This role will support the migration to SharePoint online, improving the user experiences including incorporation of the US Web Design System standards, building out the site architecture, and working in an agile environment.
- NSF maintains an intranet site, insideNSF.gov. The site was designed to provide employees with one centralized place from which to access the information and applications they need to perform their daily work and serve as the main internal communications channel for the agency. We are tasked with maintaining and modernizing this system.
We are seeking professionals with:
- Bachelor’s degree in either a technical or management discipline
- 4+ years; experience in SharePoint administration and/or development
- Agile development
- Migrating from SharePoint to Microsoft 365 or another platform
What will make you successful:
- Design, create, test, maintain, and deploy software applications
- Building models or diagrams to communicate the end goal and mapping out future software upgrades
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain and administer SharePoint services, including search, content hub, and user profiles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
- Ensure the security and compliance of all SharePoint sites, adhering to established departmental protocols.
- Provide user training and documentation.
- Come Together with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure the integration and alignment of systems.
