Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and automation, with a passion for optimizing and streamlining development workflows. As a DevOps Administrator, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Experience, Skills, and Required Qualifications
- Experience as a DevOps Administrator or in a similar software engineering role
- Proficiency with Git and Gitlab workflows
- Proficiency with configuration management systems like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SALT, or Terraform
- Good knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Web APIs
- Working knowledge of databases (Mongo, MySQL)
- Working knowledge of system metric frameworks like PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.
- General knowledge of security frameworks ( NIST 800, CMMC, DFARS)
- Problem-solving attitude
- Ability to balance competing priorities.
- This position may require a security clearance. To obtain clearance, employees must show proof of US Citizenship.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree (or experience equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
- Experience in developing/engineering applications for a large company.
Salary, Benefits and Perks
- Base Salary From $110,000 to $140,000, depending on experience
