Requirements


What you will love at Sidetrade: 


We are seeking a smart, high-energy Engineering Program Manager. Sidetrade is currently reworking on its next-gen technical platform, which will host our best-in-class O2C (Order to Cash) applications. As a contributor to that Platform stream, you will collaborate with Development & QA teams to define requirements, design detailed functionality, and advocate the development process through to implementation. You will quickly become an expert with our SaaS solutions:  

  • Work closely with stakeholders (Product, Development, Technical Leadership) to define project scope, functional requirements and the implementation strategy  
  • Coordinate action with Development, QA, Operations and other key contributors  
  • Write the user stories, based on the needs, and accordingly with all the contributors involved in the process  
  • Participate to the schedule and the priorization of the functionalities  
  • Organize the roll out of the new features to our production environments and in the other development streams  

 What you will bring:


  • Engineering Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent professional experience  
  • 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years as a Product Owner or Technical Project Manager in a Business Software Company, preferably a SaaS provider  
  • Solid understanding of the requirements engineering process and discipline in an agile environment.  
  • Work well independently and in a team, organized, analytical, and good decision making and issue resolution skills.  
  • Practical knowledge of at least 2 of the following topics: Authentication & authorization, message queuing infrastructure, distributed in memory cache, secure development practices, system reliability patterns, Containerization, CI/CD, Infra-as-Code, Observability & alerting  
  • Great communication skills.  
  • Fluent both in French and English
