Ripple Effect is seeking an experienced Deputy Director to lead our emerging Digital Transformation Division. As the Deputy, you would work with the C-suite to develop and execute the division's strategic plan, overseeing the delivery of digital transformation projects, and leading a team of talented professionals to provide consulting services to NIH, CMS and other federal government agencies. This role involves leading a team that is dedicated to advancing data analytics and visualization, implementing workflows, models and automations to improve business functionality, and delivering insights that inform policy and decision-making within the national digital sector.

Responsibilities
- Manage multi-disciplinary project teams, including staff with expertise in IT delivery, data, programming, development and project management by providing mentoring, oversight and managing performance.
- Coordinate the internal and external resources for flawless execution of projects that meet stakeholder expectations.
- Identify and locate resources through hiring, recruiting, consultants and internal resources to execute digital and IT-focused programs and projects.
- Research new technologies and conduct feasibility studies to determine overall strategy, design, implementation and maintenance of new and existing systems
- Provide advice on digital solutions and technical approaches to contribute to project objectives including meeting cadence, research approaches, resource needs, communication strategies, and data management.
- Contribute to systems that are compliant with all government laws that govern technology, including security, accessibility and privacy laws.
- Oversee the business requirements gathering, development, maintenance, testing, documentation and deployment process to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs and manages the relationship with client and all stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of processes and procedures that enhance effectiveness and efficiency of team's operations.
- Understanding of AI and other emerging technologies and their impact on organizations
- Promote the company and the division by contributing to recruiting, participating in networking events, presenting at professional meetings and actively developing networks.
- Provide divisional leadership via strategic planning and goal setting.
- May lead proposal development for the division, including budgeting and pricing.
- Refine metrics to monitor division's performance and provides coaching and mentoring to develop team and enable high performance on division projects.

Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, master's degree preferred
- 9 years of relevant experience (e.g., digital transformation, technology consulting)
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role
Basic Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering successful digital transformation projects
- Advanced ability to navigate, develop in, and train others on Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform and the full Office suite
- Experience developing and executing strategic plans for digital transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their impact on organizations
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Ability to cultivate relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience managing budgets and allocating resources
- Proficiency with IT project management methodologies and tools
Skills that Set you Apart
- Master's or Doctoral degree in relevant field
- Experience working with federal government clients
- Certifications in project management or digital transformation methodologies
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and policies related to data privacy and security, accessibility, cloud computing, etc.
- Experience with NIH or CMS projects
- Expertise in change management
- Experience working in a PMO, especially in a federal government setting
- Experience with health, science, and-or research based agencies
