Job Description
- Complete mandatory ID checks for new starters at the Trust. This can range between 5 and 25 people seen per day.
- Report to the Recruitment Manager and undertake work as delegated.
- Provide administrative support as part of the Recruitment team which will include inputting data, scanning information, filing information electronically, issuing data as required and ensuring data accuracy.
- Undertake identity checks in line with national guidance and local policy and escalate issues appropriately.
- Support the processing of Disclosure and Barring Service check applications.
- To assist with query handling on the HR reception, as well as welcoming and directing visitors.
- Assist in the collation and distribution of information as required.
- Support the team in taking and responding to phone calls and responding to enquiries.
- Hold a key role in engaging candidates in the recruitment and on-boarding process to support the retention of new starters in the Trust.
- Respond to queries from employees and direct appropriately if unable to answer the query.
- Maintain accurate and up to date information in all e-HR systems.
- Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers to promote the HR Service and the Trust as an employer of choice.
- Ensure employee files are maintained to the highest standard.
- Assist in the collation and distribution of information as required.
- Be involved in HR projects as delegated.
- Undertake identity checks in line with national guidance and local policy and escalate issues appropriately.
- Hold a key role in engaging candidates in the recruitment and on-boarding process to support the retention of new starters in the Trust.
- Support the processing of Disclosure and Barring service check applications and revalidation process.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and people skills
- Admin experience
- Understanding and knowledge of the NHS
