The OpportunityVistaVu is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to join our SAP Business One Team as an SAP Business One Implementation Consultant-Solutions Architect. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of understanding and gathering client requirements, architecting the solution environment for implementation, configuring the system to meet these needs, providing training to end-users, and ensuring successful project delivery. What will you be doing?System Architecting:

  • Designing and implementing SAP solutions that align technology with the business needs of an organization.
  • Coordinating with all solution parties involved to ensure that SAP systems are integrated and optimized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify solutions for customers problems and challenges as needs arise.
  • Learn and implement 3rd party addons and become an expert in internal IP. 

System Implementation:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into system configurations, and lead the implementation of SAP Business One.
  • Configure and customize the software according to client specifications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Business Process Mapping:

  • Understand and document client's existing business processes, identify areas for improvement and propose optimized workflows using SAP Business One.
  • Conduct workshops and facilitate discussions to streamline processes and maximize system efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver training to ensure effective utilization of SAP Business One by client employees.
  • Train end-users and super users on system functionalities, modules, and best practices, ensuring they are equipped to make the most of the software.

Data Migration and Integration:

  • Assist in data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP Business One.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for system integration with other applications or third-party solutions.

System Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing their queries, issues, and enhancement requests related to SAP Business One.
  • Troubleshoot system problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement necessary resolutions or workarounds.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Prepare project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Understand their business goals and challenges, propose innovative solutions, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay up to date with the latest SAP Business One releases, enhancements, and industry trends.
  • Continuously expand knowledge and expertise through self-learning, training, and participation in relevant conferences or events.

What experience do you need?

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Maths, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in SAP Business One Applications Associate (recent version).
  • Certified associate in project management (CAPM) or must be working towards this certification within 6 months of your start date in this role.
  • Alternative professional or technical certifications may be substituted with pre-approval from the Director of Delivery.
  • A minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience working in a similar capacity within an ERP system implementation environment or SaaS space.
  • Proficiency in SAP Business One modules and functionalities, including financials, sales, purchasing, inventory, production, and CRM.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and business intelligence tools is desirable.
  • Must have strong understanding of core business processes across various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail, or services.
  • Able to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively interact with clients, conduct workshops, deliver training sessions, and present complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Must have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to identify system issues, analyze root causes, and propose effective solutions or workarounds.
