Provide support for windows server systems running on windows 2012/2016/2019. Activities includes troubleshooting, patching, backing up / restoring of VM’s, deploying new VM’s and working with application teams on Middleware support. Lead team of Junior admins in resolving system issues
Task Description: Windows Administrative activities include:
Maintaining a stable Windows environment
Patch servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities
Use Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Windows environment
Manage Puppet in providing compliance of the Windows environment
Manage and maintain repo server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the repos
Manage Active Directory
Proficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM’s
Must be able to work independently to execute against a set of requirements.
Must be able to troubleshoot independently to resolution.
Must be able to configure Intrusion Detection, encrypted storage, and system auditing.
Must be available for 24x7 On call rotation
Required skills/Level of Experience :
4-8 years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual hardware/software within an Enterprise datacenter
Should have a minimum level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Windows environment
Active Dircetory Management
VMWare ESXi The ability to obtain a security clearance
