Systems Administrator
Primary Place of Performance: Washington, DC
Mandatory Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and DOD Secret Clearance

Currently is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be part of a team of network, system and security engineers tasked with the remediation of existing network equipment and upgrading to new equipment.We are looking for a Systems Administrator with a minimum of 3+ years' experience. Bachelor's degree or 4+ years experience are preferred with a background utilizing the following:
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in managing, administrating, and troubleshooting Apple, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Providing user management including configuring new accounts, password resets, and troubleshooting user login, profile and permission issues.
- Experience in shell command line structure.
- Experience providing technical guidance and automated support tools.
- Experience with the different Programing languages.
Duties to Include but not limited to:
- Creating and administering Apple operating system installation.
- Triage and resolve IT support requests at Tier II and III levels.
- Providing user management including configuring new accounts, password resets, and troubleshooting user login, profile and permission issues.
- Maintaining standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation on an ongoing basis.
- Maintaining a firm understanding of the customer’s IT infrastructure.
- Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
- Support the customer in the development and maintenance of systems baseline.
- Perform operating system software updates, upgrades and patches.
- Travel: Up to 10% travel required and the ability to travel on short notice .
- Additional duties, as assigned.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Preferred 3+ Years within Apple OS enterprise environment.
- Bachelor or 4+ years of experience with required certifications.
- Minimum DOD 8570 IAT II Certifications (Ex. Sec+, CISSP, GCIH, CYSA+).
- Preferred to have CompTIA Linux+.
