You have a proven track record for delivering results and managing high-performing marketing teams.  You’re not perfect, and you don’t let imposter syndrome stop you. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves, do the “dirty work,” and make mistakes.

The things that keep you up at night are figuring out how to deliver more revenue, the nagging questions you have about different buyer personas, and what role you need to hire for next. You’re passionate about all things marketing. In fact, “passionate” doesn’t even describe it. You’re obsessed. You have a thirst for learning and growth, and you love sharing what you know and what you learn with the world. You’ve probably got a decent following on LinkedIn who enjoy your insights as well. You take your work seriously but never lose the fun in the process. THE ROLE

As the VP/Director of Marketing at Frogslayer, you'll play a pivotal role in building a world-class marketing organization — a team that will be the "secret sauce" behind Frogslayer's continued growth and the envy of our competitors. • Marketing Leadership: Hire, lead, and develop a team of marketers, cultivating a data-driven mindset and culture of experimentation,  continuous improvement, and accountability. • Marketing Planning & Execution: Conceptualize, prioritize, and activate programs, campaigns, and activities that generate qualified leads and grow the sales pipeline and marketing’s annual revenue contribution. Work with CEO to define Marketing contribution and set targets for website traffic, marketing qualified leads, and pipeline. Work with Finance to build forecasts and budgets that relate to the expected ROI on marketing spend – new hires, campaigns, traffic and lead acquisition, and other areas of marketing that require rigorous financial analysis. Work with Sales and Client Services leadership to develop and bring new product/service offerings to market.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop tactics targeting various personas to accelerate in-pipeline deals into signed clients. Provide strategic guidance to strengthen our lead scoring and nurturing programs, optimizing to expedite opportunity creation, pipeline acceleration, and closed-won revenue.
  • Digital Marketing: Expand our digital marketing strategy to maximize qualified traffic and leads from paid search, paid and organic social, SEO, and content syndication.
  • Marketing Systems: Ensure the Marketing team maximizes the impact of all efforts - improving marketing’s reach and efficiency - by maintaining organized playbooks, automated systems, and dashboards.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Oversee refinement of marketing attribution models and continually analyze the effectiveness of all demand-generating marketing channels to determine which efforts to scale or adjust.
  • Revenue Accountability: Be accountable to net new revenue results, not just quantity of new leads. While growing pipeline volume is essential, growing pipeline value is vital.
