Description
The Director, Digital Marketing, will play a critical role in the development and execution of performance marketing plans. The ideal candidate operates in a consultant mindset—but has direct experience devising and leading a performance marketing plan. This position reports to the VP, Media Services. Preference will be given to Chicago candidates, but Houston/The Woodlands candidates will also receive consideration.
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Above all else, accountable for the performance of media and digital marketing campaigns.
- This includes testing of current channels, identification of new channels, and continued ways of learning.
- Use marketing, customer, competitive, and business data to inform insights and hypotheses for how to improve the performance of performance media campaigns.
- Drive the design and integration of data-first go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Innate curiosity is a must-have for this role, too.
- 7 or more years of total experience, including demonstrated success running digital media/marketing plans.
- Demonstrated experience in digital media ecosystem. Should have depth of knowledge in at least one of the following channels: SEM, SEO, paid social, or display.
- Preference given to hands-on experience managing either a SEM, SEO, or paid social campaign in last 12 months.
- Drive and forecast yield for variety of B2B/B2C brands.
- Demonstrated experience in GA3/360/4.
- Develops actionable insights from disparate data across platforms to connect narrative.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modeling and attribution.
- Preference given to candidates capable of tying back channels to revenue.
