YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
As a Senior Accountant, you'll be involved in handling financial tasks every day. This includes preparing accurate financial reports and making sure everything adds up correctly. You'll be asked to share your thoughts on financial questions from respective teams and you'll need to be committed to ensuring the monthly financial checks are completed successfully.You'll also work on financial aspects of projects and help with tasks like preparing yearly financial statements. Building strong relationships both within and outside the company will also be part of your role.Potential responsibilities will include:• Ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the financial records of CIC Warsaw.• Handling month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets management and various reports.• Preparing and monitoring forecast and budget, including cash flow forecast.• Proactively contributing to the optimization of various processes in a highly dynamic and rapidly changing environment.• Managing monthly billing to customers and AR aging.• Assisting banking operations and managing cash flow.• Preparing VAT declarations and tax accounting.• Assisting with various corporate administrative tasks.• Supporting the Finance Director and partnering with the General Manager and other operational staff to provide insightful and informative financial information and analysis used to make operational decisions.

YOU HAVE
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Polish accounting or minimum 3 years experience in complex Polish GAAP accounting services provision.• General Ledger (GL) experience, NetSuite experience is a plus.• US GAAP knowledge preferred.• Fluency in English and strong Polish proficiency.• Ability to legally work in Poland. CIC is unable to sponsor visas for this role at this time.
