Job Title: Product Owner, Enterprise Take Back

Position Summary:
The Product Owner is responsible for guiding the product’s vision, strategy, and roadmap. They are responsible for making decisions about feature prioritization, defining user stories, and ensuring the product aligns with the organization's goals.
What you’ll do:
- Capture Requirements and User Stories - This role will define and manage product requirements. This includes working closely with stakeholders, customers, and the development team to translate requirements into user stories, and communicating the product vision effectively.
- Release Planning and Management - The Product Owner will collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to plan and manage product releases. They set release goals, define the content and scope of each release, and ensure the release plan aligns with business priorities.
- Stakeholder Management - This role serves as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, such as customers, executives, and other internal teams. They gather feedback, communicate updates, and manage stakeholder expectations regarding product features, timelines, and priorities.
- Collaboration with Development Team - The Product Owner provides clear requirements, answers questions, and guides the development team based on customer needs and business objectives.
- Quality Assurance Support - Although testing and quality assurance activities fall under the responsibility of a dedicated QA professional, this role does provide input, collaborates on test plans, and participates in acceptance testing.
- Budget and Financial Decisions - This role should have a good understanding of the financial implications of product decisions and be able to make recommendations.
- Sales and Marketing Collaboration - This role may collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide product updates, information, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
- Strategy and Roadmap Alignment - This role collaborates with higher-level management to ensure the product strategy aligns with the overall organizational strategy. They provide input and insights into the product's direction and contribute to strategic planning discussions.
What you’ll need:
- Strong Product Management Skills - The Product Owner will need to be comfortable attaining a deep understanding of the SaaS product, its target market, and customer needs. They should be able to define and prioritize product features, create and maintain the product roadmap, and make strategic decisions to ensure the product's success.
- Technical Background - While not always mandatory, having a technical background can greatly benefit the Product Owner in understanding the technical aspects of the product, communicating effectively with the development team, and evaluating the code quality before release.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - This role should be familiar with the different stages of the SDLC, such as requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills - As a gatekeeper for code release, this role will interact with various stakeholders, including the development team, QA team, project managers, and executives. They should be able to clearly communicate requirements, gather feedback, and coordinate efforts to deliver high-quality software.
- Ability to Navigate Complex Decision-Making and Prioritization - This role needs to make informed decisions regarding feature priorities, bug fixes, and overall software quality. They should have the ability to balance competing priorities, consider customer needs and feedback, and make decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Attention to Detail - The Product Owner should have a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on quality. They need to review and analyze the code changes thoroughly, ensuring they align with the product requirements and meet the expected standards before granting final approval for release.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills - The Product Owner should be able to analyze complex problems, identify potential risks or issues, and proactively find solutions. They should have a data-driven approach, leveraging metrics and feedback to make informed decisions and continuously improve the product.
- Agile Mindset - This role should embrace the agile mindset, promote collaboration, adaptability, and transparency, and actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Domain Knowledge - Some level of understanding of the device lifecycle and disposition industry.
