IN A NUTSHELL

Our mission is to inspire better ways to carry, use business as a force for good, and help the world, and our crew, flourish. We are constantly in pursuit of better ways of working to reduce our environmental impact and are proud to be a part of the B Corp movement. We’re getting ready to recertify for B-Corp and we’re searching for an organised people person, who knows how to run projects like a boss and loves getting shit done to join our team. You’ll be part of the People and Culture function and our go-to human for driving the sustainability initiatives we wish to embed at a cultural level going forward.

Continuously improving how we operate is important to us, and our crew is full of great ideas on how to amplify (or reduce) our impact as a brand, business, and employer. We need someone to bring these ideas together, pull them apart to assess them and create actionable plans to ensure they become a reality.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU ARE…

  • At least a few years into your professional career, and have developed strong stakeholder management and project management along the way
  • Interested and knowledgeable in the sustainability space (you may have been educated in the space, worked in it, or have a general interest in it) and understand the nuance and complexity involved
  • A strong communicator and team player; you thrive in a collaborative environment and love bringing people together to share their ideas
  • Solutions-driven. While ideation is great, you feel much more helpful (and genuinely enjoy) clarifying pathways forward and ensuring making these good ideas happen
  • Practical in your approach and can take a great-sounding idea, identify whether it is realistic and move it to action or share when it is not with tact
  • Searching for a role where the work you do has impact, and you have great people to bounce off and learn from

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST MONTH, YOU MIGHT HAVE...

  • Begun reading through the documentation for our upcoming B-Corp recertification and prepped our wider team to start thinking about what information they may need to provide in the upcoming months
  • After reviewing the B-Corp certifications, you noticed some processes that need updating and proposed these, along with an implementation plan to the Head of People and Culture
  • Talked with our legal team to understand their position on sharing some sensitive information as part of the recertification process, and updated our process to reflect this advice
  • Joined our World Flourishing Team to understand more about a proposed new approach to tracking carbon offsets
  • Created some KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of a new initiative we have rolled out
  • Worked with the data team to build a dashboard providing a dynamic representation of our employee demographics
  • Met with your team to share the key concepts in a new book you read and thought would be interesting to share with the team
  • Met with our Brand team to document ideas that have been swirling around and categorised them into a matrix to figure out what we should do first

Life at Bellroy

Bellroy puts its heart, soul and countless design hours into helping the world carry with greater simplicity and ease. Every piece has been deeply considered to help you get the best of life's little moments. In the early 2000s, as slim tailoring became popular, bulky wallets couldn't hide anymore. So, a team of product designers and creatives (who also happened to be friends) sat around a kitchen table in Bells Beach, Australia, to design a slim wallet with fewer layers of leather and better card positioning. The release of this product in 2010 signaled the birth of the Bellroy brand, and we've come a fair way since then... We recognized pretty early on that we could use business as a force for good. So, as a certified B Corp, we constantly pursue better ways to source our leathers, reduce our impact on the environment and make sure our products last as long as possible. Our range of carry goods has moved beyond pockets and includes solutions for your tech, work accessories and more - right down to the humble set of keys. Because as long as there are things to carry through our lives, we want to find better ways to store, protect and carry them. bellroy.com twitter.com/bellroy facebook.com/carrybellroy instagram.com/bellroy medium/bellroy
