Title: Network Installation Technician (Tier II)

- Rackner is seeking a Network Installation Technician (Tier II) to conduct installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure components to support organizational IT systems.
- This role involves deploying network equipment, cabling, and connectivity solutions in accordance with established standards and procedures.
We are seeking professionals with:
- 3+ years; Conducting network installation
- Administer network infrastructure components and configurations.
- Implement cabling standards and practices.
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent
What will make you successful:
- Install, configure, and test network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Deploy structured cabling solutions to support network connectivity, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure network equipment and accessories.
- Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures during installations.
- Collaborate with network engineers and other IT teams to plan and schedule network installation projects.
- Provide technical support and assistance during network installation projects, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and installation procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine network installation requirements.
- Participate in IT project planning, coordination, and implementation as needed.
