Position Summary:
Pareto Health is seeking a skilled Payroll and HR Coordinator/Lead to join our dynamic team. This role requires a detail- oriented and knowledgeable professional who is an expert in ADP Workforce Now and has extensive experience handling payroll in all states across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of payroll taxes, legal regulations, and deductions ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing.

Responsibilities
:
- Payroll Administration: Manage and process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Handle all aspects of payroll, including salary adjustments, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and benefits.
- Compliance and Regulations: Maintain up to date knowledge of federal state and local payroll laws and regulations. Ensure payroll practices comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Employee Queries: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries. Resolve issues related to payroll and provide necessary guidance on payroll-related questions.
- Reporting and Reconciliation: Prepare relevant payroll reports for management review. Perform regular payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Tax Filings: Coordinate with the finance team to ensure all payroll-related taxes are accurately calculated and filed timely across jurisdictions.
- HR Support: Assist with various HR tasks including onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records/ files, and supporting other HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Systems Management: In partnership with the Tech and People team, manage payroll system updates and upgrades. Ensure HRIS reflects accurate data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Business Admin/ related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5-7 years of hands- on experience in payroll processing and HR in a multi-state environment.
- Expert knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is essential.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations across US states.
- Proficiency in managing and reconciling payroll data.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with all areas of the organization at all levels.
