We are looking for Engineers who have:
- Passion for solving challenging problems by delivering clean and performant code;
- Profound understanding of distributed system design and data intensive applications;
- Familiarity with the current GenAI tech landscape and trends;
- SOLID software engineering expertise (OOA/OOD, TDD, CI/CD);
- Strong adherence to agile values;
- Team-first, proactive approach to work and great communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to multiple distributed teams that work on several products within the Alli suite;
- Leading teams to define and implement highly scalable, highly available architectures for data intensive applications, with specific focus on enabling efficient ETL and ELT workflows;
- Helping the teams to define and evolve APIs that enable easy integration between various Alli components and applications, as well as external applications and platforms, while supporting security, extensibility and maintainability;
- Leading the process of identifying and integrating new platforms / technological solutions into Alli.
- Personally implementing the most challenging/complex pieces of application functionality across the product line;
- Personally debugging / fixing the most complex / challenging / critical issues;
- Mentoring and code/peer review/ coaching less experienced engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior engineering IC role working on highly scalable application(s);
- At least 2 years of experience in a principal/staff/ engineering role working on highly scalable application(s);
- Deep expertise with modern technologies for building highly scalable data-intensive applications, good familiarity with at least 70% of our tech stack (as listed in the “We Use” section)
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Master’s Degree
- Interest or familiarity working in the Digital Marketing industry
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
