Local candidates will receive preferenceWe are looking for an experienced C++ Developer with a strong background in QT to join our autonomy team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for autonomous systems. Your expertise in C++ and QT will be instrumental in creating high-quality software that meets the demanding requirements of the autonomous vehicle industry.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements for autonomous vehicle applications
- Design, develop, test, and maintain C++ software applications using QT
- Implement user interfaces, graphical displays, and interactive elements for automotive infotainment systems
- Ensure software performance, reliability, and scalability, meeting industry standards and best practices
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
- Support the integration of software components into autonomous vehicle systems
What We’re Looking For
- B.S./M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc. or equivalent in industry experience
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience
- Highly skilled in writing production-quality object-oriented code in C++, using a git-based workflow in a Linux environment
- Strong QT skills with the ability to design and implement well-designed UIs
- Expert in applying modern software principles, architecture, and design
- Excellent mathematical reasoning skills, especially with probability
- Proficient with unit testing suites such as GTest, CppUnit
- Expert understanding of the Agile software development cycle and development methodology
- US Citizen Candidates must be able to pass a background check, including a favorable credit check
