You will be a key member of the team, reporting to the General Counsel, with the opportunity to gain experience and exposure to different areas of the business in a collegial, fast-paced and positive environment. Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate and document a variety of third-party contractual relationships, including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, order forms, statements of work and amendments
- Manage and respond to requests from internal departments and direct queries as applicable
- Respond to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information
- Manage various legal and contract-related projects, including:
- Creating and updating contract templates
- Creating and updating contract negotiation playbook
- Partnering with the Finance team to develop a vendor contracting policy
- Train various teams on company policies, tools and practices
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology and other departments as needed to ensure compliance with policies
- Manage global subsidiaries
- Identify opportunities to improve and scale current processes
- Contribute to other legal department goals and duties as needed
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant transactional experience with a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people in various roles, both inside and outside the company
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task and make recommendations/decisions with available information in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Ability to think critically and solve problems, with a bias toward action
- Ability to mitigate risk in contractual terms while remaining commercial
- Experience with MS Office, Google Workspaces and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience working for a global business
- Experience with the DocuSign contract management platform
- Experience with data privacy and security, export control compliance, intellectual property and HIPAA a plus.
