Job Description
SafeRide Health is looking for a Individual Transportation Participant (ITP) Specialist to oversee the registration function of the mileage reimbursement program for our health plan members. This position will oversee the systems in place to register members for the Individual Transportation Participant (ITP) Program, this includes sending out registration packets, answering general questions, receiving registration packets, verifying content, entering all applicable data into the members profile and tracking members' continued eligibility for the program.Primary Responsibilities

  • Sending Individual Transportation Participant (ITP) registration packets to members via mail and electronically
  • Answer phones and responding to member inquiries
  • Receiving and entering completed Individual Transportation Participant (ITP) packets into tracking system
  • Communicate directly with members regarding any missing information
  • Clearly document all correspondence with members
  • Maintaining Individual Transportation Participant (ITP) database
  • Run daily, weekly and monthly reports to track expiring registrations, drivers license and insurance for all Individual Transportation Participant (ITP) members
  • Provide advanced notice to members regarding any expiring items
  • Deactivating members who have not provided any expired and/or outdated items in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of high volume data management experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of prior in-bound Call Center experience, heavy phone volume
  • Data entry required and/or experience in a fast-paced, high-level customer service oriented environment
  • Project tracking and documentation
  • Experience with HIPAA regulations

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Some college preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid ITP/mileage reimbursement program guidelines

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to use soft skills in a high stress environment
  • Possess a high level of empathy with the ability to work in a positive manner with members, vendors and health plans
  • Extremely high work ethic with a focus on member satisfaction
  • Efficient in managing large amounts of data
  • Ability to meet deadlines with maximum efficiency
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively in-person, via email, and over the phone
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse populations
  • Type a minimum of 35wpm
  • Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances quickly
  • Ability to work independently and with internal and external teams

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass criminal background record check
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
