Your Mission as an IT Specialist
The IT Specialist at Energage is responsible for support of the operational IT infrastructure and end users at Energage. This position is responsible for serving as the first point of contact by providing prompt and professional resolution of requests in a fast-paced, highly multi-tasked environment. You are responsible for supporting the IT growth of our company while maintaining a high level of service and availability of IT systems and services. This role will support employees across approximately 20 states and will need to come to the office in Exton, PA several days per week.
Accountability & Impact:
In this role, you’ll...
- Provide technical assistance via in person, phone and electronically to end users, onsite or remote
- Managing endpoint for users, using various centralized controls for both Windows and Apple machines
- Onboarding and offboarding employees, which includes and not limited to setting/decommissioning of workstations, application access (Zoom, Slack…etc) and email.
- Configuring and disabling access key fobs for employee access
- Address problems; install, configure, troubleshoot issues with Windows and Apple machines, troubleshooting tickets and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software and networks independently with little or no supervision
- Assisting with spam filtering and email tracing for Energage employees
- Work with others on technical projects to maintain system availability, security, and continuous business operations
- Windows AD support, Network Monitoring
- Manage endpoint patching for Windows and Apple Devices
- Provide Mobile Application Management for BYOD Devices
- Managing the office router, internet and wireless access points
- Assisting the security members at Energage with requests on an as needed basis
- Participate in any and all IT work related activities, as assigned by management
- After-hours technical support on an as-needed basis
- This position is required to be in the office in Exton, Pa for 1-2 day a week

- Understand technical information and translating it into terminology which corresponds to the end-user
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
Nice to have’s:
- In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Certification as IT Technician (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
- Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting issues with systems
- Experience working with networking infrastructure
