150,000 to $180,000 base plus bonus and equity

What You’ll Do:
The Huntress team is looking for an experienced Golang/Swift engineer who has experience writing software for macOS. This engineer will be responsible for developing robust, cutting-edge applications that communicate with our web portal to provide our ThreatOps team with critical threat-hunting information. In this role you will work within a cross-functional agile delivery team to deliver complete end-to-end functionality. You will focus on building new and exciting features from the product roadmap while helping our product scale to handle the management of agents and their data as our customer base grows.
You’ll be working with a smart and diverse team of problem solvers who exhibit high energy, deep technical skills, and a drive to get things done.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a Golang/Swift application that can run natively on macOS
- Partner with the Windows Agent development team to refactor the codebase into cross-platform libraries that run on both Windows and macOS operating systems
- Integrate with backend REST APIs for managing state
- Lead the development of new features and implementation tasks
- Mentor junior engineers to help them level up their skills
- Provide accurate estimates and take ownership of the timely completion of work
- Develop high-quality software and set standards for team excellence
What You Bring To The Team:
- 3+ years of programming in Golang
- 5+ years of programming on macOS in Swift, Objective C, or C
- 7+ years of experience developing software professionally
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience writing software in a distributed architecture
- Bonus: Experience with Observability platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, or Grafana
- Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and concisely
