At Liquibase, you can expect to revel in high growth across the board — in the number of customers we support, in the experiments we run, in the scope and complexity of our technical projects, and the list goes on.Liquibase is hiring an experienced Sales Manager to grow the Mid-Market segment of our database change management product by expanding the customer base and building an organization from scratch.
The ideal candidate has a passion for selling creatively to potential customers in the DevOps realm and for growing others to be successful in sales.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed sales development goals
- Develop, train and hire highly driven and enthusiastic team members
- Track team metrics and report data to senior leadership on a regular basis
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
- Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement
- Opportunity creation, pipeline management and revenue forecasting
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales
- Research and implement methods to increase customer engagement
Must Haves:
- Minimum 3-5 years of software sales experience to SMB
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Successful track record of sustained achievement of sales targets
- Minimum 1 year of people management experience
- Based in the United States
Nice to Haves:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- Experience selling an Open Source Solution
- Experience with HubSpot
- Experience building out an org from scratch
