Provide support for Netapp and IBM storage infrastructure. Controllers include:
FAS 9200, FAS 8700, FAS 8080, FAS 8060, AFF 8080, FAS 2720, AFF 700, and AFF900 and IBM v5200Task Description:Storage Administrative activities include:
- Data Storage strategies, Technology evaluation, Storage solution designing, storage process design, and consultation.
- Reviewing and monitoring LUNs for usage and performance over a period to identify growth
- Resolve daily issues on Storage
- Applying firmware updates as required
- Troubleshoot issues on Storage controller NetApp and IBM
- Must be available for 24x7 on call rotation
- Resolve help desk tickets
- Must be able to work independently
Required skills/Level of Experience :
- Should have working knowledge of NetApp and IBM storage controllers and enclosures
- Ability to identify root causes for storage issues and provide guidance on implementing resolutions
- Create or expand LUNs as requested
- Must at least have a Microsoft Administrator/Associate certification
