Description
- Responsible for the assigned functional area of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application
- Participate in developing internal processes for application management
- Manage support process for the assigned functional area of the ERP application
- Provide user support
- Work with vendors to ensure that deliveries are done in a timely manner and to expected quality
- Test vendor deliveries and internal deliveries
- Lead or participate in implementation effort
- Provide solutions for requested application changes
- Ensure that initiated application changes are well coordinated and planned before implementation
- Develop documentation to describe application changes, application processes and application function.
- Provide application training to super users, other Application Process Managers (APMs) and other applicable roles
- Ensure optimization and alignment of application processes and application use
- Promote correct, consistent and optimal use of application and basic data
- Initiate changes to improve application use, with the objective to improve processes, data quality and routines
- Follow up to ensure application processes are aligned across locations and companies
- Keep up to date with new features and functions within the ERP solution and closely related applications
- Secure good documentation of systems and applications developed by BWE or vendors and keep this updated through applications lifespan in department’s agreed document system and accordance with corporate requirements.
- Maintain and suggest improvement of current solutions to be aligned with new technology trends.
- Follow up on tickets assigned through Service Desk tracking system.
- Solve any issues in close cooperation with assigned super user and Service Desk.
- Instantly report relevant updates and problems in area of responsibility to Service Desk and the rest of the IT & Systems management team (Managers and Technical Leads).
- Report status and progress in department meetings.
- Ensure adherence to the IT Policy and report any issue.
- Proactively share information and competence in the department in general, and continuously propose improvements of department services.
- Ensure a good understanding of the overall ERP solution and how it interacts with/impacts the assigned functional area(s) and other areas of the business.
Requirements
Education
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT or other relevant major
- Long relevant experience may replace formal education
Experience
- Ideally 10 years of relevant working experience
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience from implementing or using ERP solutions, preferably IFS Applications
Interpersonal Skills
- Previous experience within the oil and gas industry is an advantage

Knowledge
- Solid knowledge in of one or more areas of the IFS application
- Basic PL/SQL knowledge is beneficial
- Good general competence in Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products is required
Other
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Some travel will be required
