Our office, Endodontic Assoc of MI - (Bloomfield Hills), is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice.
Endodontic Associates is looking to hire a Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator to join our fantastic team. Our new team member should have an upbeat personality, a positive attitude, and work well in a team environment. We are a busy dental office looking for an individual who is motivated, a self-starter, responsible, and very detail oriented. Our patients rave about how helpful, caring, and awesome we are. Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for making a positive and lasting first impression. The ideal candidate should bridge the gap between customer obsession and clerical management. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while during their visit which means the following:
- Welcoming and greeting patients to the dental office
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Schedule and maintain appointment book; confirm appointments
- Answering all incoming calls and redirecting them or keeping messages
- Check, sort and forward emails
- Keep updates records and files
- Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper ect.)
- Interview patients to complete documents, case histories, or forms, such as intake forms
Complete insurance verification or other claim forms.
Calculate and figure co-pays and are able to communicate the information to the patient Maintain medical records, technical library, or correspondence files.
Compile and record medical charts, reports, or correspondence, using a computer.
Transmit correspondence or medical records by mail, e-mail, or fax.
As an essential member of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
Your Background
You are a resourceful Patient Care Coordinator that strives to ensure patients receive the experience they deserve. You're a team player that is adaptable to new and challenging tasks. You’re an enthusiastic, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who is always proactively striving for excellence. You also have the following:
- 1 year of proven experience as front desk representative/customer service, preferably dental experience
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g fax, printer ect.)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills, customer service, and phone skills
- Customer service orientation
- A high school diploma
- Desires to help your patients
- Ability to multi-task
