Responsibility
Acting as a risk strategist with a strong passion for balancing customer experience and managing risk effectively across fraud, money laundering, sanctions, credit and all other risk types
Manage the roadmap and strategy for risk analytics and data science projects in consultation with the Risk product team.
Responsible for managing a team of data scientists and data analysts providing hands on support on building effective rules and models and supporting growth and career development
Responsible for defining standards and best practices for the risk analytics function and clearly defining ways of working between the team and the various stakeholders
Engaging with our engineering teams building our ML and AI platform to support growth and sophistication of our analytics capabilities and to improve effectiveness and efficiency of model research, development and delivery
Qualification
8+ years of related experience, particularly in Analytics, Consulting, Business planning roles
Extensive experience and a deep understanding of scenarios & typologies in at least one of the following risk domains: AML, fraud and credit risk
2+ years of management experience in managing analytics team or other relevant functions
Experience in communicating the results of analyses to leadership teams to influence the strategy
Passion for management and creating opportunities for career growth for team members
Experience in technology, financial services and/or a high growth environment is advantageous
