VGS provides processor-agnostic tokenization solutions via secure universal token vaults, iframes, mobile SDKs, tokenization proxies, APIs, and data orchestration tooling to support payment acceptance, card issuance, PII and bank account tokenization, and other payments value-added services. Some of the use cases we enable include multi-processor Network Tokenization, Account Updater, payment orchestration, secure settlement file processing, 3DS, and Risk provider connectivity.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr.

Program Manager to join our dynamic team at VGS. As a Sr. Program Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering complex technical programs that drive our company's success. You will lead the program charter and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and business stakeholders, to ensure the timely and successful execution of projects aligned with our strategic objectives. In addition, you will lead the metrics charter and oversee collection, dashboarding of various metrics to derive actionable insights and drive a culture of continuous improvement. This position will directly report to the Director of Engineering Enablement.If you are a results-driven, strategic thinker with a passion for leading technical programs, delivering impactful outcomes and driving continuous improvement leveraging data, we would love to hear from you.

What you will be doing at VGS


  • Program Management:  Lead the program charter by improving/governing all aspects of Program including Jira administration at VGS which is critical for planning, execution, and delivery of multiple technical programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Additionally, define program scope, goals, and deliverables, and establish clear program roadmaps and timelines for high value business initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and drive consensus on program priorities and deliverables. Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated with program delivery and develop mitigation strategies actively working with primary stakeholders. Proactively monitor project status, identify deviations from plans, and address any challenges or roadblocks that arise during the program lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners. Provide regular program updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommended solutions.
  • Data-driven Continuous Improvement: Drive change by facilitating metrics collection, dashboarding, deriving and socializing actionable insights as part of monthly operational review. Drive process improvements and best practices in program and metrics charters to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Identify areas for improvement in program management tools, systems, and workflows, and champion their implementation.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promote professional growth and development, and create an environment conducive to high-performance program management.

What we are looking for from you (Requirements)


  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Additional qualifications in Project Management or Business Administration are desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, leading and delivering complex software development projects. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple programs concurrently.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and web applications. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills with a focus on planning, organizing, and executing complex technical programs. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, such as Gantt charts, risk analysis, and resource allocation.
  • Communication and Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams towards program success.
  • Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify and address project risks, issues, and roadblocks in a proactive and timely manner. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions and drive program success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and requirements. Comfortable working in ambiguity and making informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Experience with configuring Jira to enable program needs is a plus
  • Experience driving operational review of functions by metric collection, optimization, dashboarding and deriving actionable insights is a plus
